Community Engagement

We aim to engage those who may not be following good values in life, or who need a little extra guidance, and to ultimately help them reach a positive destination.

Working Futures

Building confidence and equipping Young People with Life Skills

This programme is designed to help young people reach a positive destination; preparing them for further education or the workplace.

We aim to help the candidates build confidence and self-esteem, and to prepare them for new experiences that young people will encounter as they move forward in their lives.

Assistance will be given in CV and application writing, along with life skills.

BUSC BOOTBOX

AFFORDABLE FOOTBALL boots for all

The BUSC bootbox was launched to save parents money and ease the burden of cost throughout the year.  This will also allow BUSC to support local children right across the Broxburn area.

When your child has grown out of his or her boots and if the boots are still in a good condition please clean them up, tie them together and attach a small label with the size of boots written on it before handing in to the office at Albyn Park.

Donated boots will be displayed in the main hallway out to the pitch for people to view.  For anyone interested in purchasing we ask that a £5 donation is given to support the development of this initiative as we look to expand it where we can.

The purpose of this initiative is to help parents/guardians/carers to save some money.  After all we know how quickly feet grow and how expensive boots are.  Boots that are not sold on within a specific period will be handed out across the community to support those who need it.

If you have any queries or questions please contact Ahren on A.white@busc.org.uk

Sports Leaders

Building the Next Generation of Leaders in Our Community

We aim to create role models, who are active within the community club structure, inspiring them to be leaders for the next generation of young people. The young people are introduced to voluntary work and are given a group of participants to work with. Voluntary hours are clocked up and put towards the Saltire Award.

We encourage

• Team spirit
