Please also remember that one weeks camp costs ONLY £65, FANTASTIC VALUE FOR MONEY. That equates to just £13 per day, value that you will struggle to beat.
Having confirmed another three years funding from Children In Need Aidan & Malcolm were invited to attend an annual training day at BBC HQ in Glasgow.
The day itself was used by CIN & BUSC to drill down and identify some of the key areas of focus and the key differences that BUSC intend to make over the coming three years of funding. The day itself was extremely useful to get closer in line with how our work with Children In Need ties in to the delivery plan at the club and to allow them to see how we intend to use the funding more closely.
Both Aidan and Malcolm both found the day to be extremely beneficial and would want to put on record their thanks to Janet Morton from Children In Need for all her support thus far.
BUSC welcomed Broxburn Primary 3 classes to our new Room 4 All this week. Fifty four kids took part in the session learning about the importance of Happiness & Encouragement. The children are asked to remember the big word " Encouragement " and show this to all people within the class while having FUN. We learn the children to cheer on class mates as the evidence proves that the children will do better while being encouraged. We look forward to next weeks class where we will talk about the importance of Water.
The programme is now in it's fifth year and BUSC have delivered to over 1000 children in the school community learning them about the importance of leading healthy, active lifestyles.

Broxburn United Sports Club are looking to identify two new coaches to help support the delivery of both existing & new programmes. Coaches will initially focus time delivering on our afterschool football programme and a new individual player development programme with potential to get involved in some others as the programmes grow. At this moment in time we would be looking at offering around 4-6 hours per week but this has potential to increase based on programme success.
Coaches MUST hold the minimum of Scottish FA Children’s Award (L2) or be working towards at least. This role would be ideal for someone who is currently going through college or someone who is looking to pick up additional coaching hours. Coaches should have their own transport as well as be enthusiastic and keen to learn.
