Please just turn up on the day to practise your skills, have some friendly competition and finish with a cup of tea or coffee.

Recycling Point - Boots/Trainers/Football Strips

On the back of our continuing and hugely successful BUSC Bootbox we are now extending the recycling opportunities that BUSC offer to our members.

Next to the existing Bootbox you will now find a new recycling point where members have the opportunity to drop off old Football Boots, Trainers & old Football Strips.  All of these items will then be used again to support locally with excess items being sent to Rwanda and Congo supporting those less fortunate than ourselves.  We will continue to send this out via our friends at Comfort Rwanda & Congo who Scottish Based charity supporting a number of short, medium and longer term projects in the countries.  More info on the charity can be found at here

Anyone who wishes to drop items off can now do so at their own leisure with the collection points clearly marked as seen below.

Finally BUSC would like to thank our members again for their support with the wide range of projects that the club are involved in.

For more information on this programme please contact Aidan Forbes on 01506 858 057 or e-mail a.forbes@busc.org.uk

The new recycling point can be found next to the BUSC Bootbox near the main reception of Albyn Park.

New ASD/Autism Programme Launches SOON

On the back of BUSC being successful in receiving funding (thanks to the support of our members for voting) our new ASD/Autism specific football programme will be launching on Thursday 31 August 2017 here at Albyn Park.  The programme will run for a total of 16 weeks with every Thursday between 5pm-6.30pm.

Back in June Aidan and his colleague Ann Brown from Team United delivered a hugely successful open day at the Albyn on the back of a range of promotions for the new initiative.  This proved to be hugely successful with 75% of the programme being filled on this day alone.  Since then the programme has completely filled up and kids and coaches alike are all extremely excited for the new launch.

On top of this we are delighted to be able to bring in 6 of the clubs young members to take up volunteering roles as buddies to help support those who have signed up for the programme. We hope that this will allow the new intake to integrate more easily in to the club as they move forward in the new initiative.  We will keep you updated with progress of the class as we go forward.
