Lending a Helping Hand at Almondell

The Alive & Kickin Invigor8 participants were keen to lend a helping hand at Almondell Countryside Park this week.

Park Ranger Kirsty Morrison was delighted that the Over 50's Programme participants were able to help clear fallen leaves, bracken, brambles and hawthorn, to allow the visitor in the park the chance to see the Spring Flowers including Snowdrop and the 'famous' Almondell Daffodil's.

The group were fortunate to pick a lovely sunny day, but with the hard work and elbow grease involved, it wasn't long before the winter sun was too much!!

If you would like to take part in our Alive & Kickin Programme or know someone who would, please contact Leigh Lauder on 01506 858057 or email l.lauder@busc.org.uk for further information.

I cant thank BUSC Alive & Kickin members enough for the help they gave today. Their help was much appreciated.
