BUSC were delighted to take 11 of our young volunteers out yesterday to complete the sponsored cycle from Broxburn to Edinburgh and back to support our fundraising efforts to visit the Outward Bound Trust in April.
The cycle took in the Union Canal route and overall the group completed the 25 mile trip comfortably minus a few aches and pains which arrived later in the day. Well done to the whole group who despite tough/cold conditions battered on and made the most of their day.
Finally a massive thanks to John McCormick for providing us with a support vehicle for the day which allowed us to carry some spare bikes and support the cyclists when things went wrong. Also thanks to Paul Stavert for transport support and the Vennie project for their bike loans.
