The Alive & Kickin Programme have joined forces with Artlinks Leylines and Curious Routes Project to deliver new activities during April and May.
Artlink is an arts and disability organisation established in 1984. Artlink believes participation in the arts has an important role to play in realising personal and social change. Our aim is to increase opportunities to take part in the arts for those who experience disadvantage or disability in Edinburgh and the Lothians. We offer practical support so people can get involved and work with venues to increase opportunities to enjoy the arts. Artlink establishes partnerships with artists, venues and organisations to help encourage positive change.
Curious Routes and Leylines are Artlink’s arts for mental health projects based in Edinburgh and West Lothian. They connect the creative skills of individuals with mental health problems to people and organisations who share a common interest. Artlink’s work takes them to all corners of Edinburgh and the Lothians. They have bases in West Lothian and Edinburgh but move around depending on what they are exploring at the time.
Artlink are looking forward to their collaboration and residency with the Alive and Kickin group at Broxburn United Sports Club for four Thursdays over April and May.
