NEW BUSC Mini Ballers Class - SIGN UP NOW

BUSC in partnership with Planet Soccer UK are starting our own Nursery sessions (For kids aged 2-4 years old) at Albyn Park, Broxburn on Friday the 25th August. The sessions will help your child's coordination, improve their motor skills and confidence but most of all they will have lots of FUN!!

Sessions start at 1pm at the Albyn and will last roughly 30 mins costing just £3 per child. Sessions will be inside (unless weather is good) and parents are encouraged to join in. BUSC Technical Centre/Academy - SPACES AVAILABLE

The new centre continues to run on a weekly basis at the Albyn with new registrations coming in on a weekly basis.  The centre itself is designed to compliment the work going on within Broxburn Athletic Colts whilst providing an additional weekly session for young players focusing on ball mastery and technique.  *PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SESSION IS OPEN TO PLAYERS FROM OUTWITH THE CLUB.

We are also delighted to confirm that on a regular basis we will have support at the sessions from either current or ex SPL players to help your youngster with the inside tips on how to improve and develop!  We will be delighted to welcome current Dundee FC captain James McPake along to the sessions over the coming weeks.

Wednesdays, Albyn Park, Broxburn, 4.30-6.00pm, 2003s-2007s

Walking Group heads to New Lanark

The Alive & Kick Walking Group this week enjoyed the sights of World Heritage Site, New Lanark. 

Over 20 walkers split into two groups, with one group heading on a walk up the Falls of Clyde, looking out for the wildlife on the way, while the other group went for a tour of the buildings within the Cotton Mill, along with a trip on the Annie McLeod experience, which features mill girl Annie who magically appears and reveals the amazing story of her life and times in New Lanark in 1820.

Next week, Alive & Kickin will spend a day at North Berwick Beach, for fun and games.  Meet us at the Albyn Park at 10am, with your packed lunch.  New participants are always welcome.

Here at Albyn Park we have many initiatives catering for young people, including Football, Boxing, Holiday Camps, Zumba and are also proud to be home to the UKTC Taekwon-Do and iMPACT Dance.  We deliver a unique Alive & Kickin Programme to Over 50's, including Walking Football, a Walking Group, Sporting Memories and a Multi Sport Invigor8 initiative.  Over and above that, we have service for Yoga, Adult Zumba, and Outdoor Fitness......but.....

Are we doing enough?? 

With the creation of our new Room for All, we have capacity to deliver more to YOU.

What would you like to see us deliver?

We are looking for feedback from different age groups, bearing in mind what facilities and resources we have, we are asking YOU, our community to help steer us in our new deliverables.  If you would like to participate in a certain fitness class, or think there should be weekly social events, please let us know what you would like, and we will try our best to make this happen.

Walking Football Continues through Summer

If you are aged Over 50 years and missing being involved in the game, then we have the answer.  Each Tuesday from 10.30-12pm we have WALKING FOOTBALL on at the Albyn Park

Come along through the Summer, no matter what the weather is like, for some light-hearted fun exercise, following by a well earned cup of tea or coffee.

Just turn up, pay £3 and play.  We look forward to welcoming you.

ASD/Autism Programme - Spaces Still Available

After a hugely successful open day on Saturday 24 June 2017 where we still have two spaces available for the new programme delivered in partnership with Team United.  For those who are interested the new programme will start on 31st August here at the Albyn Park, Broxburn and will run until Christmas. 

Please note that this programme is for children aged 10-16 years of age.  The programme itself will involve weekly sessions and a monthly sports social club plus awards programme over a 16 week period. More information can be found below.  To register your interest in the programme please e-mail Ann Brown on ann.brown38@btinternet.com
