Get On Your Bike

Our Alive & Kickin Participants have been taking the opportunity to get Cycling with the Adaptive Bikes.

The West Lothian Moving into Health Team own the adaptives bikes, and with them being based in Broxburn, we are making good use of them.

Through research, we know that Cycling improves joint mobility, posture and co-ordination, but it is also known to strengthen bones.  Each of these symptoms are important when getting older, and when looking after an ageing body.

We will be Cycling again in 2017, on Friday 3rd February.  It doesnt matter if you are a professional or have never cycled before.  There will be a bike there to suit your needs.

Come along to the Albyn Park at 11am.  Put this date in your DIARY!
